Site Fortifié Hillman
COLLEVILLE-MONTGOMERY
Located at the town's southern exit on the road to Biéville-Beuville, this 24 hectare site comprises 18 casemates and underground galleries, built by the Germans from 1942 to 1944 and serving as the Côte de Nacre coast's defensive command post. Memorial to the Suffolk Regiment 1st Battalion which captured the site on the 6th of June 1944.
The site is open for unaccompanied tours all year round. Guided tours from July to September.
