In October, Equi'days reunites thirty or so events throughout the département: races, sales, jumping, driving, endurance, exhibitions, Trophées Epona... the specificity of Calvados is that it is the only département to devote an entire fortnight to all aspects of the horse industry.

The World Equestrian Games: In august 2014, the World Equestrian Games will be held in Caen: this two week competition (8 disciplines: jumping, dressage, eventing, driving, endurance, vaulting, reining and para-equestrian dressage) should reunite no less than 900 horses and 800 competitors from 60 nations and, not forgetting some 300,000 spectators.
