The conventual buildings of the Men's Abbey, rebuilt during the 18th century, have served as the Mairie (town hall and council) since 1965.

The guided tour will take visitors on a discovery of the art of pottery and ceramic. The visit includes the workshop, the ovens and the manor house.

Accessible for blind and partially sighted You can visit our production workshops and the manor house, but also see and handle moulds and objects at different phases throughout the production process. Enthusiastic volunteers can also produce their own small moulded object, which will then be baked in the pottery (please note that 3 to 4 weeks may be required for baking). Discover new sensations.

"Le Prix de la liberté" (the price of freedom) is a film presented on a total of 9 screens within a circular cinema, offering a medley of hitherto unbroadcast archives filmed in 1944 by war correspondents, along with contemporary footage filmed on the same, now peaceful, sites.

From mother to daughter and from grandmother to granddaughter, the memory of plants and their various uses has been handed down over the centuries. Over a total surface area of 600m2, the conservatory garden offers an insight into the flowers and vegetables that were grown in the Pays d'Auge in bygone days.
